Welcome!

We are excited that you will be joining us in on campus housing at WPI.

Undergraduate Students

  • The first-year undergraduate student housing application (Class of 2028) and the transfer student housing application will be available in May 2024.

  • The returning undergraduate student housing application for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open from January 16, 2024 - March 1, 2024.

    • All current undergraduate students will have access to the returning undergraduate student housing application.

    • The returning undergraduate student housing selection process will take place during the week of March 18-22, 2024.

  • A housing standby application will be available after the housing selection process has completed.

Graduate Students

  • The graduate student housing application will open on May 1.

  • Graduate housing is not guaranteed.

  • Newly admitted graduate students who will be coming to WPI for the first time will receive priority for graduate housing.

  • Graduate housing is only for one academic year from August 1 to June 1. You will not be eligible to continue residing in graduate housing through the summer into the next academic year.

  • New graduate students that complete the application prior to June 30 will have the opportunity to form groups with preferred apartment-mates.

  • New graduate students that complete the application after June 30 would be placed on a rolling basis based on availability.

  • Current graduate students can complete the application in the housing portal to be placed on a waitlist for graduate housing, but are encouraged to continue looking for off campus options, as there is no guarantee that we will be able to offer a placement on campus.

  • Waitlist placements do not begin until after all new graduate students that completed an application prior to June 30 have been placed.

Set up Your WPI Account:

You need to set up your WPI account before you can login to the housing portal.

You should have received an email from its@wpi.edu about setting up your WPI account (subject line: Set Up Your WPI Account – Action Required.) It takes up to 24 hours for your account to be accessible after you set it up.

Be sure to check your spam folder, or email its@wpi.edu for help. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response due to the current high email volume.
